So, I'm busy working on a Guided Tour for Visual Studio Industry Partners (VSIP) that shows how to extend Visual Studio, etc.

I'm working along in the section for Visual Studio Team System (VSTS), and start playing around with the section in the VSTS SDK about extending the Test Tool. Only the new RTM VS SDK only has a single example - absolutely NO documentation.

Turns out there WAS a whitepaper with fairly decent doc in it with the Beta 2 relase of the VSTS Extensibility Kit (which has now been rolled up into the VS SDK) - but when the RTM SDK went live - no love.

That's fine and all. What floors me is that I'm apparently the first person to notice this? Or at least to SAY anything about it. I googled for the name of the doc: "Extensibility WP 1.doc" and only found one result mentioning that it was in the Beta 2 version.

So yeah - it may not be exactly no-man's land. But it can get lonely out here every once in a while.  (Still beats working for 'the Man' though...)
