So, if you haven't seen it already, Scott Hanselman has updated his Ultimate Tool List. If you're a geek, the updating of this tool list is a recognized holiday with prizes for everyone.
I've spent a few minutes this morning looking at some of the new entries, and bookmarked a number of them for further review. Honestly, this list of tools is teh pwnz0r - chock full of shiny goodness.... make sure you check it out if you haven't.
The only thing I would have added to the entire list, is Ultrapico's Expresso. It's a SLICK Regular Expression tool that comes with some saweeet tutorials on Regexes for newbies, and makes testing regexes a breeze. It's 100% free (though you do need to register after 30 days - but the process is painless and there's no spamming anything shady going on.) I can't recommend it enough.
I was also happy to see that Ken Arway's ComXT made it into the list. It really is a great tool if you're an XML wonk; it's got tons of XML functionality all rolled into one tool... and I've blathered on about it before.... (Of course, one reason I'm so fond of it is that a bit of the functionality in ComXT is based off of the XSL Transform tool that I created for an Xml4Fun article.... )

Interestingly I did include Expresso in 2003 in my list of Regular Expression Tools (http://www.hanselman.com/blog/MyCollectionOfNETRegularExpressionTools.aspx) but it didn't seem ultimate-y at the time. I'll take a look again.
