So, I've added some ToolPanel examples.

Nothing huge, but it should show off some of their functionality...

Of course, while playing around with them I noticed another rotten bug with the way they render in IE (they cram a bit too far to the left... must be something I've overlooked with the crappy IE box-model). (Oh well, I'm getting ready to release version 0.9.6.* here in a while... )

All'z I can say is that it's about time.

This pig has been a long time in the making. I'm actually pretty happy with all the feature creep that I allowed into this pig... it's become one hell of a spiffy tool.

The binaries and source are now available for download... just head over to the main ToolPanel page and nav your way into the downloads section.

Well, the help/docs/.chm still needs some work, and there's not much in the way of how to use the stupid thing. Other than that, it's feature complete and should be ready for use. i.e. this is an alpha release, meaning that the only thing between it and a full-blown release is testing and bug-sqaursching.

I'll be updating the tutorial in the ToolPanel section of the site over the next few days... and that should make it easier for people to take the plunge and begin using this PIG!!! Once that happens there will probably be a few small bugs here and there.. and I may need to change some of the factors a bit.. then it's on to world domination.

Well, I promised a while back that ToolPanel would start to be available for download around the middle of December.

December came and went. No ToolPanel.

That's because I saw that it wasn't even CLOSE to rendering correctly in IE. (I'm starting to REALLY hate that browser when it comes to development... it's such a beast to code against.) Turns out there was a hideous bug in some of my logic. That and a few other things (like the fact I was trying to do my ToolPanel out of an imagemap etc.) all conspired against me to make me seriously bummed during all of December.

Well, I've fixed the client-side logic (for the most part... i.e. it should 98% in IE and FF and some Mac browsers). So I'm almost ready to release the bits.... just a few more tweaks to it (want to clean up some of the factors, tweak some of the methods, and tidy-up the docs) and I should be there. (But I'm not gonna bother promising a date... )

Those of you with IE can zip over to my toolpanel main page and get a look at what all of the hullabaloo is about... just mouse over the WHAT link and you'll see a toolpanel in action...
