In case you were wondering who that was, it's me.
SQL Server Books Online (a massive reference of info for how SQL Server works) drives me nuts: each time I open it from a shortcut in my taskbar, it opens ALMOST maximized.
Today I decided there HAD to be a way to force it to launch MAXIMIZED. I tried googling for it, but that was pointless due to the overload of info on the words maximize, shortcut, launch, etc...
So I started thinking... man, even if I have to learn DOS to figure out how the launch syntax works... I'll do it.
Now remember, this has been bugging me for a few years.....
Right Click the ShortCut (in the taskbar, desktop, wherever) > Properties > ShortCut..... notice the little drop-down that lets you specify how you'd like the window to size when you launch the shortcut
Grrrrrrrr....
