Well, it's official: Somebody with my name is either a terrorist, or has ties to terrorism.
Why do I care Because I can no longer get my boarding pass online - I have to stand in line at the ticket counter and get it that way. (Apparently checking my ID makes us all safer).
I can't wait until a John, Steve, or Jeff Smith gets flagged by the NTSB for suspicious activity... that should single-handedly increase lines by a visible margin in all airports.
Bummer. I remember seeing Tom Petty in concert and one of his band members was Mike Campbell, I guess it's a more common name than you would think.

Yeah, Mike Campbell is fairly common. I can usually count on there being 2-3 anywhere I live (only up in Sandpoint where there are only 18,000 people in the whole county - I don't THINK there's another one around). Talking with the ticket agents, however, it looks like they're just interested in MALES born in 1972 with the last name of Campbell. Somebody please tell me we have better intel than that (Campbell is like the 50th (or so) most common name in the US (or so I've HEARD) - so that makes for a hell of a lot of Campbell males born in 1972).
