I'm glad to see this blog post from Mark Russinovich is making the rounds. It's really a fabulous read, for geeks, about Mark's attempt to track down a root kit that he found on one of his machines - only to discover that it was put there by.... SONY (un-announced, un-requested, and un-documented in their EULA). (In other words, beyond being something that will make your skin crawl in terms of the crap SONY has pulled, it's a great read as you get to climb inside the head of an uber-geek with amazing skillz/powerz.)

Looks like it made it to Neowin - so it's undoubtedly been slash-dotted, etc. Hopefully this will cause SONY all kinds of hell/trouble - as what they've done is COMPLETELY beyond the pale.
