I was pretty sure that I was using Wonk correctly (to describe a nerd/fan-boy/geek who knows lots of stuff about something), but wanted to check Wikipedia just to make sure.
The last entry/use for wonk almost made me fall out of my chair:
Wonk is used to designate a fork with just a single tine, in the line of twook, threek, and fork.
Maybe I need to get out more, but that was seriously funny...
