I've posted in the past about how I love Office 2007. It got rid of sooooo many of the things that I hated about Office XP and the auto-formatting "we're helping you" crap that I just couldn't stand.
Overall, my experience with it has been excellent so far.
Only I spend a lot of time creating PowerPoints - and each time I close PPT, it has been crashing (for the last 5-7 months) and trying to phone home. It hasn't been the most infuriating bug I've ever encountered, but dealing with it was starting to get old. (I even re-installed Office once in the hopes of fixing it after MS's 'repair your problem' functionality wasn't able to touch this problem).
But happily Office 2007 SP1 fix0red it. Must've been all those times I got cranky and decided to send a bug report to 'spam' someone at MS into fixing my problem.
UPDATE: Damnit, I spoke too soon and the problem is back. I wish the Universe would let me take this blog post back - and trade it in for getting rid of that nasty message each time I shut PPT down. *sigh*
